SeekbookA cozy hidden object game with storybook scenes
Zoom into storybook scenes and find the hidden objects.
Seekbook is a calm hidden object game set in hand-painted storybook scenes: a mushroom village market, a coral kingdom under the sea, a magic library at night and 17 more. Each level asks you to find 30 objects, six kinds shown in a tray at the bottom of the screen, each hidden two to eight times somewhere in the picture.
Game overview
What is Seekbook?
There is no timer and a wrong tap costs nothing, so you can take your time, zoom in close and look around every corner. Every scene has three stars, and each star is a new level with different objects that are a little smaller than before. Get all three and the scene opens up for Free Seek, a fresh shuffle of objects every time you play.
At a glance
- Look at the tray at the bottom: those are the objects to find, and each one is hidden several times.
- Pinch or scroll to zoom in up to 3x, drag to look around, or double-tap a spot to zoom in on it.
- Tap an object to collect it. Wrong taps are free and there is no timer.
- Stuck? The magnifier moves the view to an object you still need.
How a level works
Every level is one big storybook picture, taller than your screen, with 30 objects hidden in it. The tray at the bottom shows six kinds of objects and how many of each are still left. Some kinds are hidden only two or three times and are a bit larger, others are hidden seven or eight times and are smaller.
Tap an object and it pops out of the picture, flies into its tray card and the number goes down. Find all 30 and the view zooms out so you can see the whole scene once more. There is no timer and no hearts, and tapping the wrong spot only makes a small ripple, so you never lose anything by looking closely.
Controls
move around the picture. A quick flick keeps it gliding for a moment.
pinch with two fingers, or use the mouse wheel. You can zoom in up to 3x.
zoom in on that spot. Double-tap again while zoomed in to see the whole picture.
collect the object under your finger. Tap a tray card to pick that kind for the magnifier.
The arrow button next to the tray folds it away when you want more of the picture on screen, and the view never lets an object get stuck under the buttons. The first level walks you through the basics in three short steps.

Four episodes, twenty scenes
The scenes are grouped into four episodes of five. The first episode is open from the start, and the five scenes inside an episode can be played in any order.
Mushroom Village Market, Sunny Greenhouse Garden, Toy Shop, Morning Bakery Kitchen, Sunny Attic.
Seaside Harbor, Coral Kingdom, Desert Oasis Market, Jungle Explorer Camp, Pirate Ship at Sunset.
Cherry Blossom River Festival, Autumn Farm, Halloween Pumpkin Village, Winter Festival Square, Snowy Mountain Lodge.
Magic Library at Night, Forest Campsite at Night, Rainy Cafe Alley, Night Amusement Park, Sky Kingdom above the Clouds.

Three stars per scene
Each scene has three levels, one for each star. All three use the same picture, but each level hides a different set of six objects in different places, and the objects get smaller with every star. That makes 60 levels and 18 different objects to find in every scene.
Getting one star on all five scenes of an episode opens the next episode and the second-star levels of that episode. Two stars on all five opens the third-star levels. The extra stars are never required to move on, so you can keep going at your own pace and come back for them later. Levels you have finished can be replayed at any time.

Free Seek
Each scene card has a Free Seek button, and it unlocks once that scene has all three stars. Free Seek builds a new level from that scene's 18 objects and the hiding spots from its three levels: six kinds and 30 objects, picked again every time you finish one. It never runs out, so a favorite scene can keep you busy for a long time.

The magnifier
Every level comes with three free magnifier hints, and the very first level gives you five. The magnifier moves the view to an object you still need and marks it with a pulsing circle for two seconds. If you have picked a kind in the tray, it looks for that one. If not, it chooses the kind with the fewest left, which is usually the one you are stuck on.
When the magnifier is empty you can get one more by watching a short ad or by spending 60 coins. Hints are always optional, and every level can be finished without them.

Tips for finding things
Kinds that are hidden only two or three times are drawn larger. Clearing them first makes the tray shorter and the rest easier to focus on.
Double-tap one corner, then drag across the picture in rows. Small objects that blend in at full view are much easier to spot up close.
Every find is saved right away. If your eyes get tired, close the game and come back to the same level later with everything you found still in the tray.
When you are hunting near the bottom of the picture, fold the tray away to see more of the scene.
If you know which object is missing, tap its card first so the hint goes straight to it.
